I’m always skeptical of claims that a particular food or beverage can help you lose weight. However, I was still intrigued when I heard about a new study by researchers at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), which found that regardless of diet, participants with higher dairy calcium intake and increased serum vitamin D lost more weight. Vitamin D also seemed to affect weight loss independently of calcium.
