This week last year, Michelle Obama announced the launch of Let’s Move, her campaign to end childhood obesity. It’s been a big first year—we’ve seen school food legislation passed, new dietary guidelines that actually encourage portion control and emphasize physical activity, and Wal-Mart’s labeling initiative. More restaurants are including calorie counts and schools are getting in on the act to get kids up and moving.
