Phew! October was a whirlwind. I feel like every night when I laid down my whole body sighed, like, “Holy shit, that was intense.” I love fall, but it tends to be my busiest season. This year has been no exception. This month involved some work travel and the usual mix of events, projects, articles, and media appearances, but I was also super-busy behind the scenes getting some exciting stuff squared away for my book launch in January! The Little Book Of Game Changers is now available for preorder on Amazon, and review copies are about to go out, which totally blows my mind.

By the way, if you ever struggle with feeling like the only introvert at the conference who just can’t wait to get back to their room or get in the car and not have to talk to anyone, or you worry that everyone else feels so much more confident or has it so much more together than you—don’t! I’ve been having this conversation a lot lately with colleagues and clients, and I think we all have our “stuff” that we need to deal with in our own ways. There are so many different ways to define “healthy living,” after all—that’s why I ask all my podcast guests what that term means to them!

I don’t know about you, but when my schedule and to-do list are jam-packed and I feel like I have no time, that’s when I have to be most on top of my own self-care. I have a new meditation up on Simple Habit that’s all about how to ignore that voice telling you that you can’t or don’t deserve to carve out that time. If you’re struggling with feeling guilty for making self-care a priority, remember that when you take care of yourself, you’re better able to support others in your life.

In the coming weeks, I’m going to be sharing more about the specific products and little life hacks I use and recommend to clients for staying well during busy and stressful times. With the holidays around the corner (wtf, already?) having a plan makes a world of difference.

As I do every month, here’s a peek at some recent publications and media appearances.
