Does anyone else find multiples of 11 really satisfying, or is it just me? It also makes me think of this song

Anyway…it’s another Wednesday, so you know what that means—another installment of What I Ate Wednesday.

As always, thanks to Jenn for hosting the link party. To see what’s on other bloggers’ plates this week, visit Peas & Crayons.

So far so good with the second week of this rotation, even with the crazy commute. I have a ton of respect for anyone who pulls this off on a regular basis!  I like this patient population, even if this isn’t the kind of setting I see myself working in. I’m learning a lot, though, and it’s been a nice change of pace too—it’s calmer, with less running around, and as I think I mentioned, the food is much better and much less expensive (My $6.25 meal credit actually buys a full meal—what a concept!).

Here’s what Monday looked like…

Breakfast: overnight oats (sorry about the recycled pic—I forgot to take a photo)

Lunch: Soup, salad & an orange. Water & tea

Snack: Gnu bar (these are growing on me—thanks for the rec, Mom!)

Dinner: Leftover kabocha squash risotto, side salad, (unpictured) glass of white wine —don’t cook with it if you wouldn’t drink it, you know?

Snack: Apple with peanut butter  (another recycled pic—sorry, it was one of those days!)

How’s your week going? What would you buy if you had $6.25 to spend on lunch?
